Tiger Cubs®
|
The Tiger Cubs® Program is designed for children who are four
or five years old, and is intended to be an introductory and preparatory
program for regular TaeKwonDo classes. Many children in this
age group are not yet capable of developing the physical abilities, social
skills and emotional maturity to be successful in a regular junior
TaeKwonDo class, but desire to be involved in TaeKwonDo Plus.
The TaeKwonDo Plus Tiger Cubs® program has been developed
especially to meet this need. The Tiger Cubs®
classes are thirty minutes in length and are structured to provide the
environment, instruction, and activities to develop these characteristics: |

- Physical maturation and coordination
- Mental readiness
- Attention span
- Social skills
- Safety awareness
- Self-awareness
- Self-concept
- Self-discipline

By demonstrating these characteristics, the child meets the requirements
for graduation into
the regular Junior TaeKwonDo Plus Program.
